Andrew Gochis is a social studies and physical education teacher with Troy ISD in Texas. In addition to teaching Grades 6-8, he is the defensive ends and special teams coordinator for the junior varsity football team and head coach of the Grade 7 basketball team. Andrew Gochis also coaches junior high track and field.

Prior to joining Troy ISD in 2022, Andrew Gochis was part of the Baylor Athletics Facilities team tasked with setting up and taking down the university's stadium for major events, including the NCAA Tournament. He also spent four years with the school's athletic department, where his responsibilities involved filming football practices and games for the team’s head coaches, giving potential recruits tours of the campus, and managing student workers in the sports nutrition department.

Complementing his experience, Mr. Gochis holds a master's degree in sports pedagogy and a bachelor's in health and kinesiology from Baylor University. He enjoys volunteering at Highland Baptist Church in his free time, and is the associate director of its special needs ministry. His other interests include fishing, running, and weightlifting.
