Chao-Yuan LO received his master's degree in 2006 and his doctorate in 2014, both in Civil Engineering from National Central University. His academic and professional experience covers feature detection for images and point clouds, feature classification, data fusion, and numerical analysis. He previously worked as a senior specialist at Photonic-Workshop, where he developed a multi-sensor microscopic measurement platform and analysis system based on the IoT framework. This system provided technical services for wafer defect detection, advanced material quality inspection, and bio-activity detection. He is currently employed as a senior engineer at TricornTech Company, where he develops and maintains automated organic gas detection systems within the IoT framework. His work experience includes roles in software development (SW), system analysis (SA), system integration (SI), project management (PM), and field application engineering (FAE).

  • Maintenance and updates of core algorithms to enhance the reliability of analysis results and reduce processing time.
  • Maintenance of the existing Automatic Calibration System (ACS) for gases.
  • Development of the third-generation Automatic Calibration System (ACS3) for gases.
  • Updating all related applications, including software and hardware controls, in conjunction with ACS3.
  • Development of the human-machine interface and related applications required for the IoT system, and establishment of the communication protocols necessary for the underlying hardware.
