【環球晶圓中德分公司】【R&D Engineer】AI/ML Engineer

Global Wafers has an opening for a Research Scientist responsible for building AI models for complex physics driven processes. She/he will own AI modelling efforts in one or more areas like silicon defect dynamics, crystal growth, slicing/polishing processes, wafer thermal processes etc. Role may involve some minimal travel to sites and international collaborations and interactions across multiple Global Wafers manufacturing sites. The new hire will get an opportunity to work with process experts in several silicon wafer manufacturing areas. She/he would be expected to co-work with them to gain key insights and leverage the knowledge to build better modeling and simulation strategies for improving the process and product characteristics. The new hire should have a deep interest in building AI models for physical phenomena.

Responsibility:
1.Design and implement machine learning algorithms that support company to improve the productivity and quality of work.
2.Join machine learning projects to co-work with user teams from problem formulation, modelling to error analysis based on modelling result. Be able to perform data analysis through data techniques, including various data types, such as numeric, text and images and communicate with domain users for findings.
3.Perform data scientist role from data collection, data exploration to feature engineering to model evaluation and error analysis capabilities.
4.Perform the judgement of whether the business problems can be solved through AI/ML and communicate the result with domain users for model explanation or error analysis.
5.Perform model lifecycle management and keep the model's validity in production.
6..Communicate model solution with global R&D,MTD teams.
7. Support R&D management team works.

Skill requirement:
1. Electronics, Optical Physics
2. Data analysis, problem solving and communication skills while working alone or in large teams
3. Programing Language, such as Python or Matlab is a plus
4. With semiconductor Fab experience is a plus

學歷：碩士以上
-Master or above degree in Physics or Engineering.
-Good communication and teamwork skills.
-Fluent in English (LSRW).
-Presentation skill in English
