Job Description

Location: Taipei Based (Hybrid with Flexible "Crossover" Hours)
Role Type: Full-Time | Individual Contributor

About Us

AIFIAN is an AI platform that acts as a "Smart Sommelier," helping users find alcohol they’ll actually love. We offer a complete service loop (including purchase recommendations, professional storage, and resale options) so users never feel the regret of buying the wrong bottle. Behind this intelligence, our distribution team handles the liquidity of the market. From sourcing to warehousing, we combine advanced technology with a robust physical infrastructure to solve complex inventory, logistics and global sales challenges for brands.

About The Role

We are looking for a Market Builder to serve as the operational “Engine" for our expansion into the US alcohol market. This is a rare "0 to 1" opportunity: you aren't walking into a role with a pre-written manual. You are here to write the manual. This is not a role for someone who wants to sit back and strategize. We need a driver who can build the logistics backbone from scratch, navigate federal regulations, and open doors with US distributors and retailers.

You will start by launching one of Taiwan’s largest legacy alcohol brand into the US market, and will ultimately be building the physical engine that makes our digital product sustainable.

What You’ll Do

  • Co-pilot the US Roadmap: Partner with the CEO to define revenue targets and go-to-market strategies. You will own the "How" behind our goals.
  • Hunt and Secure Partnerships: Act as the primary face of the brand for US partners. You will pitch to distributors and key retailers, treating the business as if it were your own.
  • Build the Infrastructure: Execute the critical, unglamorous setup tasks that make business possible, including US banking, tax registration, insurance, and office logistics.
  • Navigate the "Red Tape": Master the regulatory landscape (FDA, TTB, State Alcohol Laws). You will ensure we are compliant to avoid risks to our distribution license.
  • Design the Playbook: Document SOPs for vendor management and logistics. You are building the scalable asset that future hires will rely on.
  • Be the "Eyes and Ears": Synthesize market feedback into actionable intelligence. Don't just wait for instructions—proactively tell the leadership team what is happening on the ground.

Why Join Us?

  • You are not a cog in a machine. You will work directly with leadership on the company's most critical growth initiative. We are prepared to offer a competitive package that matches your caliber and are open to discussing compensation directly with the CEO.
  • Budget is not a bottleneck. We have the capital resources to execute this vision properly. You will be the pilot, not the mechanic trying to fix the plane with duct tape.
  • Consider this a real-world MBA. You will gain hands-on experience in International Law, Supply Chain, Sales, and Corporate Strategy.
  • We hire adults. You will have high flexibility in how you structure your day and your work, provided the results are there.

Please submit your Resume/CV in English. In your application, please include a brief note on the toughest operational challenge you’ve solved from scratch.

Requirements

What We Look For

  • Experience importing into regulated US markets is preferred. Alcohol industry background is a massive plus, but we are open to candidates from complex physical industries (e.g., Pharma, Medical Devices) with strong compliance agility.
  • Native-level English is required. You must be comfortable reading complex US legal contracts and negotiating with American stakeholders.
  • We value trajectory over tenure. You have a track record of entering new industries or learning new skills rapidly.
  • You are not "above" the work. You are willing to handle forms, applications, and logistics to get the job done.
  • While based in Taiwan, this role requires syncing with the US. You must be willing to shift your schedule for partner meetings.
  • Familiarity with modern no-code productivity tools (e.g. Google Workspace, Notion, CRM) to build a digital backbone.

About us

About AIFIAN

AIFIAN is an AI-powered retail platform that bridges the gap between wanting something and knowing exactly what to buy. Shopping for complex products shouldn't feel like a research project. We're building a buying agent that replaces the stress of guessing with the confidence of a trusted recommendation. It's the precision of a personal shopper with the speed of an algorithm.

We are changing the game from 'Browse & Hope' to 'Describe & Decide.' You provide the context — who it's for, the occasion, your budget — and our AI does the work. It narrows the world down to two curated options and sources the product for you. We don't hand you a catalog and wish you luck. We act as the knowledgeable friend who says 'trust me, this one' — and get it delivered to your door.

Our values

At AIFIAN, we foster a collaborative environment devoid of traditional hierarchies. Titles and tenure are set aside as we let our accomplishments speak for themselves. We operate as a united team with a shared objective, constantly pushing each other to excel. Every team member is regarded as a decision-maker, holding autonomy and trust. We believe in the capability of our partners to shoulder responsibilities and contribute their best efforts.
