Job Description
Responsibilities
- Be the Financial Supporter: Support the team in providing visibility into financial performance to management and in keeping account books and systems up to date.
- Month-End Maestro: Keep account books and systems up to date.
- Asset Guru: Maintain fixed assets for entities and subsidiaries.
- Tax and Finance Maestro: Support subsidiaries in financial and tax matters.
- Innovate and Elevate: Support the team in implementing system automation, reporting, and process optimization.
- Guardian of Compliance: Assist team members with internal and external audits to maintain regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or a related field.
- Prior experience in a Big 4 audit firm is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Accounting/Finance.
- Proficiency in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations.
- Solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
- Self-motivated individual with exceptional problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet stringent deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Energetic, friendly, and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Fluency in Mandarin and written English is required.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with ERP software such as Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite
- Experience in the financial services industry is preferred
