As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in performing our financial operations and ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting activities. You will collaborate closely with the finance team to support strategic decision-making and optimize financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Perform complex accounting tasks such as revenue recognition, accruals, intercompany transactions, GL reconciliations, and consolidations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
- Mentor and train junior members of the accounting team
- Be responsible for keeping up-to-date with accounting laws and regulations.
- Deal with all matters pertaining to accounting and tax documentation.
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- 2+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles, preferably within the Software sector.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Experience in US GAAP is preferred.
- Experience with month-end, year-end close and audit processes.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, sumifs and Vlookups.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Mandarin
- Aptitude for quantitative skills and numbers
- Demonstrable knowledge of tax, accounting, and other related financial laws and regulations
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Annual salary range from TWD 650,000 to 850,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
