Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in performing our financial operations and ensuring accuracy and compliance in all accounting activities. You will collaborate closely with the finance team to support strategic decision-making and optimize financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and reports.
2. Perform complex accounting tasks such as revenue recognition, accruals, intercompany transactions, GL reconciliations, and consolidations.
3. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
4. Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.
5. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
6. Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
7. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
9. Mentor and train junior members of the accounting team
10. Be responsible for keeping up-to-date with accounting laws and regulations.
11. Deal with all matters pertaining to accounting and tax documentation.

Requirement

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
2. 2+ years of progressive experience in accounting roles, preferably within the Software sector.
3. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Experience in US GAAP is preferred.
4. Experience with month-end, year-end close and audit processes.
5. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
6. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, sumifs and Vlookups.
7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Mandarin
9. Aptitude for quantitative skills and numbers
10. Demonstrable knowledge of tax, accounting, and other related financial laws and regulations

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: Annual salary range from TWD 650,000 to 850,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
