About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Our goal is to build a Google that looks like the world around us — and we want Googlers to stay and grow when they join us. As part of our efforts to build a Google for everyone, we build diversity, equity, and inclusion into our work and we aim to cultivate a sense of belonging throughout the company.

Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. We deliver enterprise-grade solutions that leverage Google’s cutting-edge technology, and tools that help developers build more sustainably. Customers in more than 200 countries and territories turn to Google Cloud as their trusted partner to enable growth and solve their most critical business problems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, deploy, adapt key planning, execution, and reporting processes in a unique product environment consisting of software, hardware, operations, support, and solutions
  • Drive the execution of software development projects through planning and cross-functional coordination to deliver program outcomes. Coordinate with third-party partners to integrate external timelines with internal timelines.
  • Work with software engineers, Quality assurance, product managers and other engineering teams to get quality products and features through the software project lifecycle (build, test and release on time).
  • Take responsibility for release schedules and milestones, identify possible issues and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders.
  • Lead technical programs for the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), leading cross-functional teams to take products to market, ensuring success metrics inform future efforts.

Về chúng tôi

Google’s mission is to organize the world‘s information and make it universally accessible and useful.

Since our founding in 1998, Google has grown by leaps and bounds. From offering search in a single language we now offer dozens of products and services—including various forms of advertising and web applications for all kinds of tasks—in scores of languages. And starting from two computer science students in a university dorm room, we now have thousands of employees and offices around the world. A lot has changed since the first Google search engine appeared. But some things haven’t changed: our dedication to our users and our belief in the possibilities of the Internet itself.
