Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience with Finance systems, accounting, operations, tax, internal controls, requirements documentation, testing, and validation.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SQL/database management.
  • Knowledge of India and Asia's regulatory complexities, especially around business money movement and their impact on product business generation (e.g., local entity, banking or Tax requirements).
  • Track record of program management, prioritization, cross-functional stakeholder management and delivery in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction and a bias to action.
  • Ability to multitask on varying projects and initiatives, while dealing with ambiguity in an unstructured, ever-changing environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data into useful formats and bring actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

About the job

Revenue Platforms (RP) mission is to simplify and centralize the prioritization and deployment of smart, Quote-to-Report (Q2R) digitalization to deliver the highest Return on Investment (ROI) on Finance platforms, for Alphabet. Ultimately, we aim to enable Q2R systems, processes and data fit for Finance that allow every product, anywhere, anytime, the right way, effortlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Drive impactful initiatives across APAC, leading the charge on new product launches, system upgrades, and regulatory changes within our business and financial processes.
  • Analyze Q2R processes across our revenue platforms to identify opportunities for improvement and design creative solutions that address critical accounting needs, including multi-element arrangements, tax optimization, and streamlined financial operations.
  • Drive cross-finance and cross-functional alignment and approval across Tax, Treasury, Controllership, Operations and Legal to deliver clear view on Finance needs, challenges, and next steps.
  • Collaborate with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Controllership, Product and Engineering team to understand accounting and finance requirements, identify revenue platform gaps, evaluate implementation feasibility, and assess impact/risk profile/priority.
  • Develop your own perspective on the scope of work and present effectively to executive leadership through compelling presentations with clarity on data/impact and associated recommendations.
