Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), Certified Implementation Specialist - ITSM (CIS-ITSM).
  • 4 years of experience with the ServiceNow ITSM Professional suite (Incident, Problem, Change, Request), including custom application development, scripting (JavaScript, GlideAPIs), and platform configuration.
  • Experience designing and implementing the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM) framework in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience in ServiceNow integrations using REST, SOAP, and IntegrationHub.
  • Experience in ServiceNow development, including server-side and client-side scripting in JavaScript.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Enterprise Integration of ServiceNow and SAP.
  • Experience with ServiceNow IT Operations Management (e.g., Discovery, Service Mapping).
  • Knowledge of Service Portal development (AngularJS).

You lead all aspects of web development, requirements gathering, software development, testing, documentation, training, implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance for both in-house and customer-facing web applications. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of Googlers using UI and functional specs/prototypes as input. Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design, development, and configuration of solutions on the ServiceNow platform to design and deliver a IT Service Management (ITSM) solution, ensuring alignment with ServiceNow best practices and our goals. Conduct technical reviews and participate in sprint planning.
  • Define and advocate best practices for ServiceNow platform configuration and extension. Oversee and govern all development and configuration work performed by our implementation partners, enforcing best practices for platform health and upgradability by validating all configuration approaches to avoid excessive customization.
  • Design and guide the development of all integrations between ServiceNow and our first-party internal systems, working with our Software Engineering teams to build API-led connections.
  • Review all technical deliverables, including code, configurations, and documentation, to ensure they meet the standards for quality and maintainability.
