Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of development technical leadership experience.
  • Experience in cloud platforms, virtualization, and platform security.
  • Experience in system programming/kernel development.
  • Experience with Linux, OS/Operating Systems Internals, Virtual Machine Extension (VMX), Kernel Development, Drivers.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap as you drive projects through their entire life-cycle.
  • Play a key role within engineering to design, develop, and deploy security products and initiatives that span across multiple domains and across cloud.
  • Design, develop and maintain software components to support confidential computing use-cases for Google Cloud Security. Own the quality of the work by writing extensive unit and integration tests.
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality software deliverables.
  • Contribute towards building strong technical capabilities in the India team by mentoring/coaching other team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within the team. Work closely with the cross-functional and cross-geo team to ensure seamless integration.
