Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience working with advanced business application programming (ABAP).
  • Experience in one or more of the following: SAP NetWeaver and application architecture, SAP HANA, data integration with SAP, SAP analytics, or SAP cloud solutions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with business software systems and their integration for flow.
  • Ability to lead a group of engineers on ambiguous challenges and work with other peers/leads in the ecosystem.
  • Ability to design robust integrations using SAP PI/PO, BTP Integration Suite (CPI/API-M).
  • Ability to design and develop full stack applications using SAP gateway, Fiori, CDS views, and ABAP.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills.

You lead all aspects of web development, requirements gathering, software development, testing, documentation, training, implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance for both in-house and customer-facing web applications. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of Googlers using UI and functional specs/prototypes as input. You are empowered to act like an owner, take action and innovate to meet user and customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Write product or system development code. Understand the overall program objectives, technical dependencies, and find an optimal solution leveraging SAP and first-party products.
  • Develop, build, and deploy financial data products and applications using various platforms and technologies like BigQuery.
  • Work with analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Drive key project deliverables leveraging other FTEs and vendors across teams and geographies.
  • Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
