(IBM Consulting) Generative AI Specialist

Position Overview: The Generative AI Specialist will be responsible for  applying the latest generative models and development of models. This role collaborates closely with engineers and research teams to explore various application scenarios such as text generation, image generation, sound generation, and data augmentation, and need to developing POC demanding.
Key Responsibilities:

• Generative AI Model Development
  • Research and select appropriate generative models, such as GPT, Diffusion Models, GAN, etc.
  • Develop and implement customized models to test different application scenarios.

• Model Deployment and Operationalization
  • Collaborate with software engineers to operationalize and deploy AI models in user applications.
  • Utilize tools for model deployment, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and API service mechanisms.
• Large Model Training and Fine-tuning
  • Re-train models through optimization for specific applications, collaborating with new stakeholders or user needs to maximize success rates.
• Adoption of Machine Learning Advancements
  • Leverage the latest research outcomes to deliver practical application solutions.
  • Conduct evaluations and optimizations to improve model performance.
• Building Generative Application Expertise
  • Assist in designing generative AI application areas for the company, such as automated text creation, real-time recommendations, or automated data/code generation.

1. Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
2. Proven experience in foundational algorithms and model development, with a strong understanding of generative AI principles and applications.
3. Proficiency in deep learning models such as GPT, Diffusion Models, Transformer, and GAN.
4. Familiarity with Python tools and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, etc.
5. Strong skills in data optimization and expertise in model evaluation and performance testing.
6. Engineering mindset with problem-solving capabilities and effective communication skills with colleagues.
7. Prior experience in deep learning and AI application projects is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in cutting-edge model research, such as publishing dynamic articles or contributing to open-source projects.
• Cross-disciplinary application experience, such as in e-commerce, big data, or multimedia collaboration projects.
