Job Description

Introduction

We are looking for a seasoned Network Architect with over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in network architecture, design, and planning, with a deep familiarity with IT solutions including server, storage, networking, and software. This role requires extensive experience in both cloud and data center environments, with the ability to design, integrate, and manage complex cloud and on-premises infrastructures. Strong presentation and communication skills are essential for effectively conveying architectural solutions to clients, vendors, and internal teams.

Your role and responsibilities

- 15+ years experience in network product support (Cisco, Juniper, F5, etc), design, and implementation

- CCIE or equivalent (CCIE/JNCIE certification, or equivalent would be a great plus)

- Networking solution experience in design, plan, implementation & build of large-scale data centers of complex networks, including network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools.

- Understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS, and etc.)

- In-depth knowledge of communication protocols and routing protocols (BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, OSPF).

- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper solutions or equivalent

- Route /Switch L2/L3 technologies.

- Ability to work independently & Collaborate in team work.

- Excellent communication skills regarding technical and non-technical concepts.

- Acts as a professional technical interface to customers for network solution and delivery quality.

- Performs technical service and/or pre-sales support for Networking. Assists in engaging services activities including systems assurance, installation, account management, basic problem determination, discontinuance and relocation for network systems.

- Applies specialized technical training, experience and knowledge to assist customers.

- Demonstrates required proficiency in technical skills for this position.

- Strong Service & Business Mind.

- Normal/flexible office conditions at IBM and customer locations.

- High availability and responsiveness goals; require use of many communications technologies.

- Possesses experience with System, Hardware or Server

Preferred technical and professional experience

Proven Experience: Demonstrated track record of success in providing technical support, emphasizing a focus on customer satisfaction. Coordination Skills: Strong coordination skills, particularly in managing hardware and software support for seamless customer experiences. Exceptional Operational Service Delivery: Exceptional expertise in delivering operational services, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
