Field Application Engineer (FAE) - AI Server Power

Role Summary: As the technical anchor for our Taiwan business, you will work side-by-side with Sales to secure design-ins for Power Shelves and Power Sidecars. You will be the primary technical bridge between Taiwan ODM customers and our global engineering teams, ensuring seamless system integration and rapid issue resolution during product development stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-Sales Support: promote technical value proposition to ODM R&D teams. Conduct technical presentations and demos for Power Shelf and Sidecar solutions.
• Design-In & Debugging: specific support on system integration, including mechanical fit, thermal constraints, communication protocols, and power distribution compatibility.
• Issue Resolution: Lead on-site troubleshooting at ODM labs. Reproduce issues, analyze root causes, and drive corrective actions with internal R&D teams.
• Project Management: Manage technical milestones for multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring EVT/DVT/PVT criteria are met on schedule.
• Spec Definition: Assist customers in defining power requirements for next-gen AI platforms and influence their decision.

Qualifications and Requirements: 

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or related fields.
• Deep knowledge of AC/DC and DC/DC power conversion. Familiarity with Server Power Supply Units, Power Shelves, BBUs and CBUs.
• 5+ years of experience in hardware design, debugging, schematic review, and using lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, Power Analyzers, Electronic Loads).
• Familiarity with OCP ORV3 standards and Nvidia/AMD specification requirement is a strong plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
