Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design processes for medium to large-scale product features or projects, ensuring consistent and high-quality user experiences.
• Plan and conduct user research, translating insights into actionable design strategies and optimization directions.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to drive design implementation and ensure successful execution.
• Contribute to the development and optimization of the design system to enhance collaboration efficiency between design and development.
• Recommend workflow improvements and strengthen the influence of design in product decision-making.
• Provide clear and practical UX solutions for core journeys such as KYC/KYB, cross-border flows, and fiat/crypto on-ramping and off-ramping.
• Deliver high-quality work with strong ownership and rapid iteration in a startup-paced environment.
• Design intuitive experiences and visual systems for both web and mobile applications, especially in blockchain, fintech, or technology-driven contexts.
• Work effectively within established product development processes common in the tech industry.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of UI/UX design experience, with the ability to independently plan and lead cross-functional projects.
• Proficient in user research methodologies, integrating both qualitative and quantitative insights into design decisions.
• Strong ability to balance user experience, business needs, and regulatory requirements to deliver practical and feasible solutions.
• Excellent communication and cross-department coordination skills, with the ability to build alignment across teams.
• Proficient in Figma, with strong skills in wireframing, prototyping, and delivering design specifications.
• Ability to translate complex technical mechanisms into intuitive and user-friendly experiences.
• Strong understanding of product development workflows in the tech industry.
• Ability to design visual styles and user flows aligned with blockchain or technology-related products (web and app).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services, payments, or other highly regulated industries.
• Experience leading design initiatives or mentoring junior designers.
• Familiarity with A/B testing and analytics tools, with the ability to validate design effectiveness using data.
• Experience designing for global, multi-country, or multi-language products, with an understanding of globalization and localization needs.
• Strong prototyping skills for interaction design, flow validation, and conceptual exploration.
• Familiarity working with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to find balanced UX solutions within regulatory constraints.
• Nice to have: crypto/blockchain knowledge, front-end experience, slide-deck design, or a product/business mindset oriented toward value propositions and end-to-end journeys.
• A collaborative team-player mindset (no “hero designer” mentality) and openness to exploring AI-enhanced ways of working.
