Technical Consultant – HPC/AI Technologist

Job Description
• Work with the sales, application engineering, and product development teams to protect and expand our market-leading position for HPC/AI market segments.
• Identify the technical requirements in the whole semiconductor supply chain that address the test needs for HPC/AI devices.
• Partner with foundry and OSATs to identify the new technology and testing requirements for the advanced package.
• Identify good technical matches between customer testing needs and Advantest solutions, architect the test solutions, and support the technical sale of the solutions.
• An ideal position for an experienced performance digital application engineer with marketing skills.

Responsibilities include:
• Technical device analysis and understanding of HPC/AI test methodologies in all insertions.
• Gap analysis, reviewing the fit of available Advantest solutions and delivery for target customer devices.
• Creating detailed, working relationships, and open communication within Advantest and the customer.
• Technical presentation and whitepaper development.
• Market and test requirement trend analysis.
• Mapping top-down sales objectives to target device and design wins, partnering with Advantest business units to achieve these objectives.

Travel:
• Approximately 20% travel to various customer and Advantest sites, when possible.

Requirements:
• Master degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science or equivalent
• 5 years of experience and technical competency in performance digital semiconductor testing
• Nice-to-have: Programming fluency in Java/C++, experience in thermal management/design.
• Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and customer-facing skills.
• Understanding of the semiconductor lifecycle, and associated assembly and test value chain.
