Job Description

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

Responsibilities

1. Prospecting new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound cold calls, and networking at industry events.

2. Research accounts, identify key decision-makers, and generate interest to maintain and expand your pipeline.

3. Contact key decision-makers of small, medium, and large-sized companies and generate interest in conversational AI solutions.

4. Conduct high-level discovery calls with prospective clients to identify operational challenges and opportunities.

5. Work independently and with internal teams to plan approaches, pitches, and proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives to close new business.

6. Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.

7. Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.

8. Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.

9. Understand conversational AI’s product portfolio and keep up with industry trends and competitors.



Requirements

1. At least 2 years experience in outbound BDR - strong preferability in SaaS or AI technologies.
2. Experience working in hospitality, healthcare and long-term care industries is strongly preferred. Additionally, experience in implementing technological solutions within these industries is preferred.
3. Strong organizational skills
4. Exceptional people skills to interact with executives, colleagues, cross-functional teams, partners, and customers
5. Excellent relationship-building skills
6. Proficiency in MS Office, G Suite, and CRM software (Experience with Hubspot is a plus)
7. Fluent in both English and Chinese.

Interview process

We will have three interviews, including with HR, the direct supervisor, and peers.
