Role Overview
As we expand into Japan, we’re looking for a native Japanese speaker to help localize our sales and marketing content and manage our Japanese social media presence. You will work closely with the Sales & Marketing team and assist with ad hoc projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate and localize company content (website, blog, video scripts, social media posts) from English to Japanese.
- Ensure content tone and messaging align with Japanese cultural and market expectations.
- Manage social media accounts(optional)
- Create original Japanese content based on market trends and feedback(optional)
- Support cross-functional marketing and business development initiatives.
- Assist with Japanese language QA and product reviews when required.
Qualifications
- Native Japanese speaker; fluent in English and/or Mandarin
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail; grammar proficiency is a must
- Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
- Cultural fluency in Japanese consumer behavior and tone
- Interest in technology and AI is a strong plus
- Experience in hospitality is a bonus
