Social Media Intern_社群媒體經營實習生

Start date: ASAP, must commit for at least 6 months
Working hours: 20 hours per week
Salary: 183 NT/hour and up (depending on experience)
Location: Taipei and/or remote worldwide

We are currently looking for a bilingual social media intern with a strong interest in global news, and a passion for social media and its possibilities, to join our growing editorial team. You should be excited about creating content, working across different social media platforms, and growing audiences. In this role, you will have hands-on experience creating content and developing skills in news reporting, video production, and social media management in an exciting, fast-paced digital media startup.

This is a six-month internship with the opportunity to become a full-time position in the future.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage, post, and schedule content across all of Almost’s social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Threads, YouTube, Facebook, X, Snapchat, and LinkedIn
• Craft compelling social media copy in both English and Chinese
• Create visually engaging thumbnails for social media
• Adapt and create graphics and videos for social media
• Upload and format content on the Almost website and newsletter
• Help optimize website content for SEO and maintain the website
• Track and analyze post insights and data, and compile monthly reports
• Assist with producing brand content for marketing channels
• Assist with translating content from English to Chinese, and Chinese to English if needed

If you:

• have excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese
• keep up with world news, current affairs and viral topics
• live and breathe social media and content, and have an eye for what could go viral
• have experience managing and/or posting on social media platforms (video editing experience is a big plus!)
• have a basic understanding of SEO
• can work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• see yourself as highly motivated, detail-oriented, and action-driven
