■ Key Responsibilities
- Interface with marketing, sales, production and engineering focal for master schedule and build plan.
- Work from engineering plans and production specifications to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements. Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.
- Manage order pull in / push outs including capacity constraint analysis to support internal or external requests.
- Provide input of master schedule and build plan to management.
- Chair slotting meetings. Coordinate with marketing to ensure opportunities and sales orders are set up correctly in SAP.
- Manage Planned Independent Requirement (PIR) in SAP for forecast demand.
- Initiate demand in MRP (systems & non-system orders). Monitors and validates MRP accuracy, resolves data integrity issues.
- Gather input globally from purchasing, inventory focal for inclusion in comprehensive supply review.
- Drive for cycle time reduction.
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects. Be key member in company-wide, multi-level, collaborative decision-making processes, reaching to the top levels in the business.
- Establish measurements for new processes and collaborates cross-functionally for process improvement, develops new business processes and solutions as needed.
- Solve complex problem; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
