The Applied Materials’ AKT PECVD family of products is used by flat panel display (FPD) manufacturers to deposit most of the layers, commonly called “films,” which function as dielectrics (insulators) or semiconductors (partial conductors). The CVD Electrical Engineering group is responsible to develop, design, test and release of power, controls systems to support all CVD equipment.
■Key Responsibilities
1.Design or modify electrical/electronic engineering assemblies, layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications
2.Problem identification and troubleshooting a variety of complex electrical problems
3.Define, coordinate, perform and generate engineering test reports
4.Perform engineering analysis of difficult scope
5.Implements concepts for variety of complex product issues and electrical solutions
6.Generate electrical product specifications
7.Specify and review engineering documentation
1. Ability to design analog/digital circuits, control circuits, power supplies, motion control data acquisition, and designing for EMC considerations.
2. Strong Knowledge and proficiency in electrical engineering and operation of devices and sensors, such as thermocouples, electric actuators, motors, heaters, pressure sensors, pressure controllers, flow controllers.
3. 2 years of hands-on experience in electronic circuit design (analog, digital), development, troubleshooting and validation

5. Proficient with basic computer programs: MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio.
6. Experience with CAD programs: Zuken E3S, PCAD, OrCAD, and/or AutoCAD or other schematic capture.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
