AppWorks was started by Jamie in 2010 to give Taiwan a push as it upgrades itself into a 21st-century digital economy and to connect Taiwan with ASEAN to form a collaborative Greater Southeast Asia ecosystem.
AppWorks is the region’s leading startup accelerator and early-stage VC. Every 6 months, we invite the most talented AI / IOT, blockchain / crypto and Southeast Asia startups across the region to join AppWorks Accelerator, equipping founders spanning all walks of life with the necessary resources, mentorship, and guidance to get their ventures off the ground.
Today, the AppWorks Ecosystem stands stronger than ever, now encompassing 624 active startups and 2,029 founders. Together, AppWorks startups generate US$ 16.3 billion in annual revenues, have created 27,204 jobs and are valued at US$ 32.1 billion. As a VC, AppWorks manages US$ 350M total fund size, funding approximately 20 – 30 deals a year, while having produced 6 IPOs and 6 IEOs to date. Today, the AppWorks Ecosystem stands stronger than ever, now encompassing 490 active startups and 1589 founders. Together, AppWorks startups generate US$15.3B in annual revenue, have created 23,999 jobs, and boast an aggregate valuation of US$31.8B.

AppWorks manages venture capital funds totaling US$ 350 million. We’ve attracted a diverse array of LPs who believe in our vision including but not limited to the National Development Fund, Cathay Life Insurance, CID, Far EasTone Communications, Fubon Life, and China Trust Ventures. We fund 20-30 deals a year, now with more than 100 companies in our portfolio, which has so far produced 5 IPOs and 4 IEOs

AiWorks by AppWorks School
Aiworks is an enterprise training and consulting institution focused on AI and automation applications. Evolving from its predecessor, AppWorks School, it has built a network of over 1,900 alumni and partnered with more than 170 companies. We assist enterprises with everything from process optimization and cross-departmental integration to the practical implementation of generative AI. Our goal is to forge AI-Ready teams that possess both hands-on skills and demonstrable application results. Through a combination of course training, consultant guidance (accompanying runs), and practical workshops, we help companies integrate AI tools into their daily work and continually deepen their application scenarios. This ensures that AI becomes the core engine driving organizational innovation and operational efficiency.
