Job Description

The AWS Customer Service team provides support to a wide range of customers helping them understand the benefits and capabilities of the AWS’s Cloud Computing Services. This team focuses on assisting customers with account and billing related inquiries, and interfaces with internal Amazon organizations to provide the perspective of the Voice of the Customer.

Key job responsibilities

  • Handling Account and Billing related issue via three channels, Call, Chat, Email.
  • Providing prompt, efficient, detailed, customer-oriented service to AWS customers.
  • Acting as single point of contact for customer to communicate with internal service teams and to ensure AWS as a whole delivering a consistent and high-quality service.
  • Acting as an advocate for our customer, reporting and acting on observed areas for improvement.
  • Assisting with customer communication during AWS critical launches and support events.
  • Our Customer Service team provides continuous support to our customers from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Sunday. To maintain this level of service, we operate on a rotating schedule for weekend and holiday coverage. Team members are typically scheduled for one or more weekend days per month.

    Requirements

    Basic Qualifications

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Mandarin and English.
    • Effective customer handling with strong conflict resolution, and problem solving skills.
    • Able to take ownership and be proactive.
    • Able to master new skills quickly and adapt to a fast paced environment.
    • Open to working shifts (9am-6pm, Mon-Fri or Sun-Thu or Tue-Sat)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 1 year or more work experience in customer service, customer management, or technical support.
    • Proficiency in MS Office with moderate skills in Excel (e.g. pivot, vlookup…etc.)
    • A drive to dig into the details of a system or process to solve customer problems.
    • Known as the go-to person in your family for technology related questions.
