Microsoft Teams Operations Engineer is responsible for the management and troubleshooting of Microsoft Teams across the enterprise. The engineer will work closely with IT and business teams to support user needs, ensure best practices for Teams usage.
Responsibilities
- Ensure configuration of Microsoft Teams across the organization and proper integration with Microsoft 365 services (e.g., SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange)
- Provide Tier 3 support for Teams-related incidents and requests. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Teams meetings, chats, calls, and file sharing
- Proactively identify and resolve issues that may affect service availability or user experience.
- Ensure Microsoft Teams complies with the organization's security and data protection policies.
- Assist with the rollout of new features, updates, and major changes to Microsoft Teams.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Teams-related procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Stay updated on Microsoft Teams updates and new feature releases, sharing knowledge with the team.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate, or similar certifications.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Teams
- Knowledge in support processes and KPI monitoring
- Proven experience with UC platforms and communication technologies.
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in Microsoft Teams administration and troubleshooting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and handle multiple priorities.
