COMPANY PROFILE: Cake Global Consulting, an executive recruitment specialist, is partnering with a leading fabrics and garments manufacturer. As the company expands its presence in Vietnam, they are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to strengthen their dynamic team.

MARKET: Vietnam

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Team Leadership: Oversee the Trade Department's business team, managing over 10 Vietnamese and Taiwanese professionals, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
  • Sales and Market Development: Drive business growth for international brands, OEM manufacturing, and local sales in Vietnam, with a focus on uncovering new market opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Market and Brand Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market and brand analysis to inform business strategies, focusing on customer needs and competitor activities.
  • Client and Partner Engagement: Build and sustain strong client relationships and partnerships, positioning the company as a market leader. Conduct regular client visits and represent the company at domestic and international exhibitions, including trips to Ho Chi Minh City and events in Germany.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align on goals and share market insights, ensuring cohesive business strategies.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Report performance updates to the Vietnam General Manager, CEO in Taiwan, and Group Vice President, presenting analyses on market trends and project outcomes.

Requirements

  • Industry Experience: Strong textile industry background.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Chinese and English is required.
  • Market Insights: Skilled in brand and market analysis; proactive in identifying market opportunities.
  • Travel: Domestic trips within Vietnam, including twice-yearly travel to Ho Chi Minh City, with occasional international travel, including exhibitions in Europe.
  • Client Engagement: Frequent client visits and participation in exhibitions to drive business growth.
