Job Description

INTRODUCTION

On the behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Director to lead end-to-end supply chain operations and drive continuous improvement across all functions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Supply Chain Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement an overall Supply Chain strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Lead and manage all Supply Chain functions: Planning, Procurement, Warehousing, Logistics.
  • Establish efficient processes, KPIs, and governance systems to optimize cost, service, and quality.
  • Build and develop a strong Supply Chain team; ensure succession planning and talent development.

2. Demand & Supply Planning

  • Oversee Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to ensure accurate demand forecasting and balanced supply.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Production to ensure supply reliability and product availability.
  • Drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy and inventory management.

3. Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Develop strategic sourcing plans and vendor management systems to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and supply stability.
  • Negotiate key contracts and manage relationships with raw material and packaging suppliers.
  • Implement sustainable procurement practices and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.

4. Logistics & Warehousing

  • Oversee warehouse and distribution operations to ensure efficient inventory flow, stock accuracy, and timely delivery.
  • Optimize logistics cost and network (own fleet or 3PL partners).
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, cold chain, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Supply Chain management, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in the Food or FMCG manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of demand planning, procurement, logistics, and production operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good at English.
