Vietnam Sales Representative - Chemical

COMPANY PROFILE: Executive recruitment specialist – Cake Global – is representing a global company specializing in the import, export, and production of dyes, textile auxiliaries, and specialty finishing chemicals used in garment manufacturing, dyeing, and textile finishing. To support their Vietnam market growth, the company is seeking a sales professional with deep customer access in the textile and garment industry.

Location: Vietnam

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and develop key customer accounts in Vietnam, including dyehouses, textile mills, garment washing units, and finishing factories.
• Promote and sell a wide portfolio of products, including reactive dyes, dispersants, softeners, silicone, and functional finishing chemicals.
• Provide technical support, recommend formulations, and troubleshoot issues during trials or production.
• Coordinate with the application lab, technical team, and regional business managers for product support and customer solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics.
• Visit clients regularly and support sample testing, lab dips, and bulk trials.
• Prepare sales forecasts and reports for management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Textile Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Experience in sales, technical service, or business development in the textile/garment industry.
• A strong network with end-customers such as dyehouses, textile factories, or apparel producers is highly preferred.
• Previous experience selling dyes or chemicals is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Good communication in Vietnamese and English.
• Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable with frequent client visits.
