Senior FAE - Foreign Semiconductor Testing Solution Vendor - CWH

• Provide active pre-sales support to the sales team, including technical offers, presentations, and demonstrations.
• Serve as the technical interface with customers' engineering, IT, and operations teams to understand and integrate hardware, software, and system functional applications.
• Collaborate closely with various factory teams, including marketing, engineering, and applications, to develop cutting-edge ATE, Handler, Thermal, and Automation solutions, and to enhance performance.
• Identify customer requirements with a focus on:
• Conceptual design of hardware, software, and test cell integration.
• Electrical and mechanical hardware schematics.
• PCB and hardware design inputs and requirements for interfacing hardware.
• Work closely with the R&D and Engineering teams to understand the internal structure of testers, handlers, thermal, and automation systems. Develop new calibration and diagnostics algorithms and oversee the entire development cycle (specification, development, integration, and documentation). Assist in defining product specifications and requirements in collaboration with R&D personnel.
• Provide technical support to design teams through data collection, setting optimization, data reviews, and compliance reporting. Ensure limits are tested and correlating reports are generated.
• Debug and verify software releases on equipment installed at customer sites and/or develop customer device test programs for ATE.
• Design and develop demonstrations, test plans, reference platforms, and identify and resolve key problem areas promptly. Define new processes for competitive analysis and testing purposes.
• Manage and execute projects involving the deployment of real-world environments and define and manage work packages.
• Develop and implement customer application collaterals, including product documentation, data sheets, programming guides, application notes, customer presentations, white papers, and training materials to help customers achieve optimal equipment usage.
• Build strong customer relationships to gain insights into their strategy, direction, and application needs.
• Monitor ATE, Prober, Handler, and Active Thermal Control industry market trends and advise the sales team on product requirements and differentiating features.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Wafer Prober, IC Test Handler, ATE, and Active Thermal Control applications for automated semiconductor equipment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical, or related technical disciplines.
• Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese, with presentation skills (interview and tests conducted in English).
• Experience with the application of heaters, heat sinks, cooling systems (single and two-phase), pumps and fans, temperature and flow sensors, and temperature control systems.
• Experience in software development projects, either in full-time work or university projects.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in programming, with proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Understanding of computer networking, standard internet and handshaking protocols, semiconductor test operations, instrumentation, microelectronics, Windows, Linux, Java, C, C++, NetBeans, and Mercurial.
• Strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills in electrical and mechanical aspects.
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact directly with customers and coworkers via face-to-face meetings, telephone, email, etc., to review problems and actions taken, and update technical specifications, drawings, and test results.
• Self-motivated, action/results-oriented, independent, and flexible individual with a passion for developing technical excellence.

• Motion system: Stepper, Servo, Linear motor, Encoders, Driver parameters, Tuning, ...etc.
• Vision system: Hardware - Camera, Graber card, Lighting and Controller, Software - Able to use, teach the vision system, etc. and troubleshooting
• Machine Process Control Logic
• Pneumatics system in Pick and Place system.
• Electro-mechanics system
• Thermal modeling
• Calculation and Measurement techniques
• Applied statistical methods, such as DOE and reliability statistics.
• SolidWorks modelling
• Material such as metals, ceramics, adhesives, epoxies, and polymers, brazes and solders, thermal interface materials.
• The physical demands for this position are light to moderate. This position requires use of computer, standing and sitting for extensive periods of time.
