    Your Role

    As our Technical Engineering Manager, you’ll lead a talented engineering team to design and deliver high-quality, scalable, and robust solutions that power our platform. Partnering with product, design, and operations teams, you’ll shape the technical roadmap and drive impactful project execution. We’re looking for a leader with strong technical chops, exceptional management skills, and a passion for building innovative products that redefine the industry.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative, learning-driven culture with hands-on technical guidance.
    • Define the platform’s technical vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning with business goals and priorities.
    • Work closely with product management to translate business needs into technical specs, guiding the team to deliver user-focused solutions.
    • Manage resources, timelines, and priorities to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
    • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging tech, driving innovation to enhance platform performance and competitiveness.
    • Establish and refine engineering processes and standards to ensure code quality, scalability, and reliability.
    • Conduct regular code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and uphold coding best practices for maintainability.
    • Collaborate across teams to tackle technical challenges, resolve issues, and champion continuous improvement.
    • Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and teamwork, creating a positive and inclusive environment.
    • Contribute to hiring and onboarding, helping grow a diverse, high-performing engineering team.

    Requirements

    What We’re Looking For

    • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Experience: 5+ years in software engineering with expertise in scalable web applications/services; 3+ years leading engineering teams in a fast-paced setting.
    • Skills: Proficient in modern languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, or Golang, with experience in relevant frameworks; strong grasp of software engineering principles, design patterns, and clean code practices.
    • Traits: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration; sharp problem-solving ability to address complex challenges with creative solutions; a passion for tech and continuous growth.
    • Language: Fluent English to engage with an international team and leadership.

    Bonus Points

    • Experience with data-driven apps, machine learning, or big data technologies.
    • Familiarity with GCP, Firebase, TypeScript, SQL, or NoSQL.
    • Open-source contributions or a desire to build with the community.
    • Background in social media or influencer marketing.
