📋 Job Responsibilities

• End-to-End NPI Lifecycle Management: Lead server projects from RFQ proposals, budget allocation, and prototype planning through NPI builds to mass production and post-launch sustaining support.
• Cross-Functional Core Team Leadership: Coordinate cross-functional teams (EE, ME, Software, Testing, Safety/Compliance, Factory) to ensure build schedules, prototype validations, and qualification plans hit key milestones on time.
• Global Tier-1 Client Engagement: Serve as the primary technical/project liaison for North American clients, hosting project reviews and executing JDM/ODM collaboration models effectively.
• Proactive Risk & Contingency Management: Utilize NUDD frameworks to identify project risks early and drive swift root-cause analysis and resolution for supply chain shortages, engineering bugs, or manufacturing issues.
• Factory & Sustaining Operations: Partner with factory PMs on PCBA/mechanical sourcing strategies, pilot builds, second-source qualifications, and engineering change management (ECO/ECN).

🛠 Technologies & Core Concepts Used

• Domain Focus: Enterprise Cloud Data Center Infrastructure, Rack Server Architecture, High-Performance Compute Nodes.
• Methodologies & Concepts: NPI (New Product Introduction), JDM / ODM Collaboration Models, NUDD (New, Unique, Different, Difficult) Risk Assessment, Mass Production Sustaining & ECO Management.
• Tools & Systems: MS Project, Cross-departmental ERP/PLM systems, Root Cause Analysis Frameworks.
• Cross-Disciplinary Integration: HW (EE/ME), Software/Firmware, Test & Validation, Regulatory/Safety Compliance, SCM & Factory Manufacturing.

🎯 Requirements & Skills

• Proven Track Record: 5+ years of NPI project management experience in system-level hardware product development (Server, IPC, PC, Notebook, or AIO).
• Industry & Technical Expertise: Strong familiarity with ODM/JDM product development workflows, PCBA material preparation, and hardware manufacturing processes.
• Global Communication Capabilities: Business-fluent English proficiency (TOEIC 800+ or IELTS 6.5+ equivalent) with extensive experience communicating with North American Tier-1 clients and technical teams.
• Risk & Problem-Solving Aptitude: Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional root-cause analysis and handle component shortage or production bottlenecks.
• Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel business trips overseas (accumulated under 3 months per year).
