As Business Development Manager on the Cake Platform Business Development team, you will do market research and industry analysis to identify high-growth business opportunities for Cake, you will have the unique opportunity to help refine the strategy, introduce creative value additions / efficiencies, work with founders, and continue to build programs aimed at expanding engagement with, and usage of Cake platform with a group of creative and smart people.

Who You Are

• Proven track record of successful corporate and business development or running any kind of consumer businesses. (3+ years experience preferably)
  
• Self-starter with a track record of successful lead follow-up and sales development at multiple executive levels within an organization
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency, discriminate between critical and non-critical requirements, and prioritize tasks accordingly
  
• Creative - Invent and reinvent things to make things better, or a wrong that you want to right that you're passionate about 
• Strategic - Provide proactive, meaningful insight & identification of long-term or overall aims and interests and the means of achieving them
• Decisive - Uses a framework or process by which to make decisions. At times, will need to make decisions quickly and often with incomplete data
• Persuasive - “Write it down” and bring others to their point of view using your strong communication skills, logic, data, and persuasive presentation skills. Have a formal process and framework by which to make qualitative and quantitative points, not just emotional appeals
• Accountable - Being willing to answer for the outcomes resulting from their own choices, behaviors, and actions. Take ownership of situations that they're involved in.
• Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills, strong writing and presentation skills
• The highest level of integrity.
• Result-oriented, and always focus on driving results in a measurable way to ensure we stay focused on the highest impact initiatives.
• Ability to turn your business ideas into reality.
• Ability to speak and write in English and Mandarin fluently.

Salary Structure

Base Monthly Salary * 12 months + Performance Bonus

There are three main stages in our interview process:

1. Video call (45 mins - 1.5 hour screening)
2. Take-home exercise & review
3. Onsite interview (1 - 2 hours visiting)
