Our Stacks

Backend: Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Heroku, GraphQL
Frontend: React.js, Node.js, Next.js, Webpack, GraphQL

We use Ruby on Rails, but it's fine if you are not familiar with Ruby and Rails.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Over 3 years of proven expertise in backend development, with proficiency in at least one backend language.
• Proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems that deliver exceptional performance and user experiences.
• Mastery of relational databases, ensuring seamless data management and retrieval.
• Familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS / GCP with demonstrated expertise in architecting cloud systems for high scalability and low latency.
• Skilled in creating comprehensive unit and integration tests, guaranteeing the reliability and functionality of developed features.

Bonus Points

• Familiarity with Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), Jenkins, and other relevant tools for efficient and automated development workflows.

There are three main stages in our interview process:

1. 30 minutes online phone screen with HR
2. 30 minutes online technical interview with Senior Engineer
3. 2-3 hours onsite interview (which includes a brain teaser, algorithm test, system design and a potential group interview with the dev team)
