Job Description

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

* Linux Kernel Development, Optimization and Maintenance.
* Design and Development of Device Drivers for various peripherals including NIC, SPI, I2C, UART, CPLD, FPGA.
* Design and Development of BSP, HAL, Application based on Debian, CentOS, embedded Linux and Other Standard Linux.
* Participate in Silicon/Hardware Board bring-up and debug.
* Work closely with the Firmware and Hardware teams.
* Optimizing/Customizing OS based on ONIE/ONL/SONiC to suit for diagnostic hardware system
* Technical lead to trouble shooting the issues found in design phase
* Technical lead to deliver BSP package(SPEC, image, checklist...) following with dev process compliance by schedule

Requirements

* Engineering Foundation Competencies
* Knowledge of electrical, electromechanical and pneumatic systems and principals of operation.
* Strong knowledge of the setup, operation, and maintenance of specific equipment sets used in manufacturing processes.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly and fabrication procedures.
* Strong knowledge of electronic circuitry and testing and debugging procedures.
* Knowledge of computer programming and ability to use applications specific to this position (such as C++).
* Ability to read and interpret product specifications, schematics and mechanical drawings.
* Ability to use hand and power tools required for test assembly.
* Knowledge of personal computers and Windows applications.
* Excellent knowledge of quality standards.
* Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of internal customers.
