Associate Engineer, Electrical Design
Job Description
Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
* Work as a team member who understands/interprets technical problems and provides technical support.
* Solve assigned problems under guidance of more senior engineers.
* Design, modify and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs. e.g. creation of Schematics, Bills of material, diagrams, drawings, etc.
* Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations
* Liaison with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams.
* Analyse and interpret data and information
* Recommend modifications for systems
* Create reports and documentation
Requirements
* Experience with Hardware development and testing with Embedded HW, FPGA, High Speed Ethernet, Chassis, Power, Regulatory, and DFT.
* Experience with bench level testing and test equipment including high speed oscilloscopes, Network analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and network pattern generators.
* Experience developing Software for hardware test automation with development tools such as C/C++, Python, TCL/TK, LabVIEW, and PERL.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* A strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
