Summary


The Analyst, IT Solutions will collect, analyze, develop, document and communicate business requirements, and work with various IT teams to develop and deliver solutions. Provide support and user training on selected systems (for example SFC, ERP and local applications) and participate in IT projects.

Detailed Description


Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:

• Gather and document business requirements by engaging with business partners

• Work with various IT teams and the business partners to deliver IT solutions

• Respond to system problems by analyzing the issue and determining the next course of action

• Provide system training to end users

• Participate in various IT projects as required

• Work closely with users to support the Shop floor Operation software.

• Analyses the solution and develops the program to support business or customer requirements.

• Work with the team or other functional teams for system enhancement, new project implementation, including designing, program specification, developing, testing, training, and support.

• Troubleshoot the software/ hardware problem and provide technical support.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Maintaining systems by monitoring and correcting software defects. 

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies


• Good knowledge of hardware, software, and programming languages.

• Ability to use multiple development languages (Azure, C#, VB, ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS/HTML, MVC, Bootstrap, .NET Framework, .NET Core, etc.)

• Have knowledge or experience in Azure SQL Server and Web Service Programming.

• Having experience in a position involving application development and maintenance will be useful.

• Good written and oral communication skills in English.

• Good analytical, problem-solving ability, ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.

• Good organizational, time management skills, ability to work accurately under pressure of deadlines with frequent interruptions.

Physical Demands


• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.

• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.

Typical Experience


1 to 3 years of relevant experience in similar roles

Typical Education


Bachelors Degree or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
