Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:* Lead the design, development and implementation of technical solutions in multiple domains. Participate in project planning and scheduling.* Provide technical leadership and direction to a team of engineers. May be a recognised expert (go to person) in one or more technical areas* Review, interpret and may negotiate customer requirements/specifications and provide customer feedback* Lead the deployment of strategic programs and coordinate site-wide deployment efforts.* Proactively promote industry best practices* May manage relationships with key vendors/partners.* Research systems ideas and will draw up plans for these systems* Design, modify and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs.* Create designs in line with Celesticas procedures, regulations and customer standards* Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations* Solve complex problems* Liaison with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams.* Recommend system modificationsElectrical:* Creation of Schematics, Bills of material, diagrams, drawings, etc.* Analysing and interpreting data and information* Creating reports and documentationMechanical:* Prepare calculations on the proposed solution before completing technical drawings. Sketch and draw up designs using input from other engineers, requirements and input from design review (DFx) team* Calculate factors like tolerance, dimensions, and thermal and structural analysis* Submit drawings to management, engineering teams and customers for review.* Provide support during the manufacturing process* Finalize designs and send prints to the production department

Supervises material handlers within assigned work teams. Assigns and schedules work, reviews performance and recommends employee compensation, coaches for improved performance and disciplines as necessary. Establishes a team training model and a developmental plan for each employee. Ensures that all employees are trained to perform effectively and efficiently. Reassigns personnel as necessary to optimize production. Meets and communicates regularly with employees regarding site safety standards, ISO standards, customer awareness training, etc. Develops, improves and enforces compliance with documented procedures for material handling practices. Ensures accurate counts, packaging, handling, stock rotation, shelf-life, part identification, etc. Supervises the process for receiving, checking and stocking raw materials; sorting and delivering raw materials to production; and, packaging finished products and shipping to customers. Evaluates departmental metrics to measure performance. Identifies and drives process improvements. Manages departmental budget. Interacts with peers and other departments to communicate information, resolve issues and continually improve processes.Provides leadership and support to order fulfillment employees. Makes decisions involving workload allocation and hiring practices. Provides guidance on account issues, workload issues, processes and personnel issues. Facilitate team meetings. Provides input on direction on department activities and staffing/ personnel. Provides training and mentoring to new and existing employees. Facilitate the development of new processes and best practices models for outbound order fulfillment.

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:* Identify technical issues, troubleshoot and resolve them by coordinating with RD, Manufacturing and Field teams.* Participate in customer technical meetings and prepare training programs for internal subordinates.* Hardware validation of Networking, Storage, Server products against customer's infield issues, requirements and Mfg. issues during NPI or RMA* System validation including DVT (Design Validation Trial), SPIT (Signal, Power, Integrity Timing) environmental regulatory approval.* Qualify alternative components for compatibility, cost effectiveness and benchmarking* Support Manufacturing Engineering and Test Engineers on trouble shooting and resolving technical issues and root cause analysis* Work with software teams to identify root cause of system failure* Ability to install software such as Linux based Operating Systems, ONIE, BIOS, BMC, SES* Proficient in using various test and measurement equipment including but not limited to Oscilloscope, Impedance analyzer, Power meter, Signal analyzer, Spectrum

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:* Maintains regional or global responsibility for a specific commodity or group of commodities for price/value determination, sourcing, negotiations, terms conditions and supplier relationship development working independently.* Quotes and negotiates all products and services quarterly.* Develops cost of customer bids within response time objectives.* Supports bid activities by interacting with the site teams to compile and deliver the material commitment to the customer.* Participates in Commodity Council Corporate negotiation team and /or the Customer Materials Commitment process by providing material pricing and data analysis.* Conducts Quarterly Business Reviews with top suppliers and review customer BOMs for quarterly commits.* Coordinates any supplier communication.* Reviews and resolves issues on supplier performance feedback, supplier report card and bids.* Supports the site SCM buying teams in times of product shortage or suppliers not meeting performance requirements including escalation within the supplier and alternative source development/recommendations.* Supports customers to resolve quality, serviceability and performance related issues for products or bid activities.* Consolidates, tabulates, analyzes and reports on various commitment and performance metrics.

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:* Manage programs (multiple projects per program) of medium complexity (technology, organizationally). Lead cross-functional, global core team(s), kick off programs, establish schedules and drive meetings.* Present and communicate status to the business leaders and customers. Review and interpret customer specifications and provide customer feedback* Coordinate site-wide deployment efforts.* Implement change as directed in the product lifecycle process and recommend process improvements* Plan the overall program and monitor the progress. Drive the creation, review, approval and update of the Program Plan/WBS including resources.* Daily program management throughout the program life* Drive the program core team to meet or exceed program objectives (Cost, Quality, Schedule, Features, Fulfillment/Continuity of Supply, Solution delivery across products service offerings, Customer Specific Needs)* Define the program governance (controls)* Manage the program's budget. Forecast actuals against plan/quote for income/revenue, cost/labour expense* Manage risks and issues and taking corrective measurements* Coordinate the projects and their interdependencies. Manage and utilize resources across projects* Align the deliverables (outputs) to the program's "outcome" with the aid of the business change manager* Manage the main program documentation, such as the Program Initiation document

Drives performance improvement at our most critical suppliers by identifying and resolving complex systemic problems. Responsibilities include validation of POs to support demand are accurate, measure / improve supplier Line of Balances (LOB) and past dues (PD), verify raw material and work in process positions, review yield/quality performance, resolve capacity issues, identify tooling gaps and needs, ensure supplier has stable/accurate demand signals and improve supplier look ahead metrics.Ensures their assigned suppliers deliver on holistic improvement and drive rapid functional issue resolution. Implement Supplier Recovery / Improvement / standard work used to develop suppliers to perform at World Class levels by improving process capabilities.Deploy Supplier Recovery / Development advanced tools of which may include any combination of assessments, training, quality improvements, delivery improvements, capacity improvement, lead-time reductions, Lean, Six Sigma, and / or cost savings.Interface with all levels of the organization, suppliers, and customers regarding supplier performance and improvement actions and processes and be prepared to report out at executive levels on plans and results.Create and manage the implementation of strategic projects including project plans, overall tracking capability, reporting of progress within the team and up through leadership.Lead and / or participate in cross-functional project teams driving improvements in OTTR, Past Due, Volatility and Linearity at the site.Complete root cause analysis and recommend/implement corrective actions where projected results are below plan. Perform analysis of supplier performance using SAP, Rapid Response, and other Celestica databases

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:* Under supervision and with assistance develop, qualify, and install test applications into manufacturing operations.* Optimize the Test process focusing on productivity improvements to cycle time and yield* Debug of solutions provided by external vendors or customers based on training supplied* Assist with test optimization based on feedback from customers and operations partners based on a solid unstinting of the test coverage, diagnosability, reparability, firmware/diagnostics and user experience.* Maintain with minimal supervision, the continuing performance of the Testers and participate in the OEE improvement plans, yield and test time optimization.

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:* Responsible for the protection of Celestica assets and to respond to alarms, emergency situations and to assist employees with security issue as part of our mission to provide a safe work environment.* Responsible for maintaining appropriate access to all areas of the facility for both employees and customers.* Resolves potential physical security issues and dangers.* Controlling daily security operations including incident investigation, property passes, loss prevention, and all administrative duties required at the site.
