Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:* Maintain the process within the team* Keep the PCB team output at high quality* Lead planning a set of PCBs design at RFQ and planning stage, balance feasibility and cost* Accurate estimate PCB design effort and schedule* Lead peer review, manager review, and cross site review* Capable to lead a complex (server, storage, switch) PCB design.* Capable top-down the PCB design from Planning to detail PCB design.* Capable supervises other designers and helps to troubleshoot and solve CAD software problems.* Maintains PCB design integrity through updates and records of changes.* Be the key interface, meets with project team leaders, designers, customer and suppliers* The designer must be able to initiate and lead activities to improve the design process and increase the efficiency of the design tools.* Evaluates, recommends and tests CAD software and other programs necessary for PC design.* Seeks out new approaches for building internal and external relationships; maintains contacts with existing relationships

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:* Design, develop and implement technical solutions in two or more technical areas. Lead smaller projects and may coordinate with other engineers including reviews of their work.* Review and interpret customer documentation, conduct appropriate research, analysis and experiments with minimal direction from senior staff.* Creates technical proposals (solution and timelines) based on requirements.* Research systems ideas and will draw up plans for these systems* Design, modify and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs.* Create designs in line with Celesticas procedures, regulations and customer standards* Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations* Solve complex problems* Liaison with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams.* Recommend system modificationsElectrical:* PCB layout Design, Schematic by using Allegro Candence Software* Participate in HW/Layout review* PCB stack up review* Work with the Electrical and Mechanical Engineers to ensure the design meets all requirements from an electrical performance and mechanical enclosure perspective.* Create and export manufacturing files ( drawing, gerber ) and review DFM/DFT with Manufacturing team

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:* Responsible for understanding and implementing the customers technical roadmap and related process development projects.* Lead and implement the development and release of the full manufacturing process for new customer products.* Understand and provide feedback on customers technical requirements to team members and management* Responsible for developing and implementing costed and optimized feedback using Design for manufacturability (DFX) tools and processes, with the goal of reducing manufacturing cost and improving quality and reliability of product.* Develop, plan and lead the assessment of the capability of process applications using Design of Experiments.* Devise process controls and data collection strategies and evaluate complex data to assist with reporting yield, reliability and diagnoses to root causes failures impacting product quality.* Ensure accurate and timely communication to management on critical technical and business issues.

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:* Provide tester support to production* Monitor product test yields and feedback to related parties for corrective action in a prompt and timely manner.* Collaborate with Debug team to find root cause of low yields.* Verify that test equipment (hardware software) is in proper working condition, and not the root cause of low yields.* Participate in continuous improvement programs to improve test yield and reduce scraps.* Document, control and maintain existing test production hardware and software (Including routine preventive maintenance and calibration on test equipment).* Set up new test equipment (hardware software), buy-off procedure before releasing to production.* Document and update the test procedures. - Provide training of test process to production team.* Provide training to functional test technicians on how to confirm test failures and maintain test equipment.* Perform test line conversion (when applicable).* Maintain in house test fixture.* Review overall ICT test capacity of TEST ICT capacity vs demand analysis* Review ICT test requirement of NPI product.* CCB coordinator* Perform other work-related assignments requested by supervisors.* Change Management, ECO, limits, test steps, FW and ID programming

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:* Identify technical issues, troubleshoot and resolve them by coordinating with RD, Manufacturing and Field teams.* Participate in customer technical meetings and prepare training programs for internal subordinates.* Hardware validation of Networking, Storage, Server products against customer's infield issues, requirements and Mfg. issues during NPI or RMA* System validation including DVT (Design Validation Trial), SPIT (Signal, Power, Integrity Timing) environmental regulatory approval.* Qualify alternative components for compatibility, cost effectiveness and benchmarking* Support Manufacturing Engineering and Test Engineers on trouble shooting and resolving technical issues and root cause analysis* Work with software teams to identify root cause of system failure* Ability to install software such as Linux based Operating Systems, ONIE, BIOS, BMC, SES* Proficient in using various test and measurement equipment including but not limited to Oscilloscope, Impedance analyzer, Power meter, Signal analyzer, Spectrum

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:* Work independently to develop technical solutions without assistance in a limited number of technical fields supporting common segments/technologies. May also solve complex problems in cooperation with a team of other engineers.* Attend and interact in technical customer meetings.* Provide high level test hardware and software solution architecture* Review equipment data sheets and select appropriate equipment based on requirements* Support creation of structural or functional test strategy and test plan to meet project goals and requirements* Support creation of technical proposals with costed BOM and hours estimates* Ability to research and comprehend relevant product technologies and skills associated with product technologies* Develop production test strategies based on product design specification* Design and develop test solutions including hardware software elements and then system integration, qualification, and installation to meet product, quality and test requirements outlined in the test plan.* Debug of tester issues using design of experiments, tools, and failure analysis methodologies* Execute all validation/qualification requirements by applying statistical and common industry methods* Stabilization of Test Solutions for manufacturing working to optimize with process teams focussing on cycle time and yield.* Test developers may also work with product design teams with feedback from product testability, test coverage, diagnosability, reparability, firmware/diagnostics and user experience.* Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations
