Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:* Lead a complex project PCB design, up to 56 layers, 112G.* Top-down (Breakdown) the PCB design from Planning to detail PCB design.* Supervises designers and troubleshooting and solving software problems.* Estimates effort accurately by PCB by project.* Maintain the process within the team* Keep the PCB team output at high quality* Lead planning a set of PCBs design at RFQ and planning stage, balance feasibility and cost* Accurate estimate PCB design effort and schedule* Lead peer review, manager review, and cross site review* Capable to lead a complex (server, storage, switch) PCB design.* Capable top-down the PCB design from Planning to detail PCB design.* Capable supervises other designers and helps to troubleshoot and solve CAD software problems.* Maintains PCB design integrity through updates and records of changes.* Be the key interface, meets with project team leaders, designers, customer and suppliers* The designer must be able to initiate and lead activities to improve the design process and increase the efficiency of the design tools.* Evaluates, recommends and tests CAD software and other programs necessary for PC design.* Seeks out new approaches for building internal and external relationships; maintains contacts with existing relationships.

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:* Own 1--2 product components (e.g., networking, compute, storage, or AI/ML modules) within customer programs.* Qualify and implement new products, including processes, equipment, and materials.* Lead and support DFX activities (Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, Reliability, Test).* Conduct design risk assessments and implement design/manufacturing guidelines.* Manage pilot builds and monitor technical performance during product development cycles.* Participate in root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and corrective actions for technical issues.* Work cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, supply chain engineering, quality, NPI teams, and directly with customers.* Document, track, and resolve failures throughout the product lifecycle.

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:* Contributes to monthly forecasts and owns daily/weekly output and quality targets.* Manages the performance, motivation and satisfaction of all the team and processes to ensure key quality, output and efficiency targets are met.* Manages the training and skill development and growth of all staff to ensure multi skilled capability.* Ensures all return to work interviews and first level disciplinary hearings are conducted in a timely, consistent and professional manner.* Management of controllable operating expenditure eg scrap, consumables.

Organizes and oversees the training program which includes developing the trainer certification procedures, process training methodology, a policy to govern the program, a continuous improvement plan, and tools to enable trainer/training supervision.Being Trainer includes both classroom and on-the-job components.Consults with operators, trainers, engineers, managers to identify and address technical and process performance deficiencies.Investigates process/performance problems.Helps define performance requirements, formulates recommendations, designs the learning component of solution, initiates appropriate actions, and evaluates results.Creates or promotes opportunities for Celestica employees with area educational institutions (e.g. community colleges, technical training institutes).Forms and maintains partnerships with area community colleges and technical training institutes and collaborates on creating/adapting curriculum.

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:* Lead the design, development and implementation of technical solutions for complex projects, involving multiple domains. Participate in project planning and scheduling. .* Provide technical leadership and direction to a sizable team of engineers. May be a recognized expert (go to person) in one or more technical areas* Take responsibility for non-technical elements of an engineering project (people, financials etc.).* Review and interpret customer requirements/specifications and may act as primary customer contract.* Analyze trade-offs in complex systems and recommend solutions. Develops deployment strategies and plans.* Lead the deployment of strategic complex programs and coordinate site-wide deployment efforts.* May manage relationships with key vendors/partners.* Research systems ideas and will draw up plans for these systems* Design, modify and implement systems that meet customer and Celestica needs.* Create designs in line with Celesticas procedures, regulations and customer standards* Keep up to date with relevant industry knowledge and regulations* Solve complex problems* Liaison with suppliers, customers, contractors, and other internal teams.* Recommend system modificationsElectrical:* Creation of Schematics, Bills of material, diagrams, drawings, etc.* Analyzing and interpreting data and information* Creating reports and documentationMechanical:* Prepare calculations on the proposed solution before completing technical drawings. Sketch and draw up designs using input from other engineers, requirements and input from design review (DFx) team* Calculate factors like tolerance, dimensions, and thermal and structural analysis* Submit drawings to management, engineering teams and customers for review.* Provide support during the manufacturing process* Finalize designs and send prints to the production department

Performs tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:* Manage a portfolio of commodities and services, developing and executing a procurement strategy that includes supplier analysis, selection, and pricing.* Lead or support major corporate negotiations and contribute to the materials commitment process by analyzing pricing and BOMs.* Act as the primary contact for internal site and customer support, and handle all quoting and negotiations.* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, including performance reviews and business development initiatives. You'll also interact directly with senior executives from multinational companies.* Provide essential product cost support and resolve quality and performance issues for internal customers.* Identify and communicate supply vs. demand for allocated products, escalating and resolving any critical shortages.* Prepare bids, manage cost analysis, and present them to management.* Maintain the material prices database, analyze BOM competitiveness, and ensure compliance.* Guide and support junior team members and colleagues at other sites.
