What you’ll be responsible for

Circle is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team at Circle. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will play a critical role in building the UI of our wallet infrastructure and maintaining the underlying code. Your expertise will be instrumental in bridging the gap between users and backend services, enabling seamless interaction between the two.

Working on enhancing the UI of our wallet infrastructure, you will have a pivotal role in optimizing the user interface for a seamless and user-friendly experience. Your responsibilities include developing product UI, as long as SDK and sample applications for both existing and upcoming product offerings from Circle to facilitate easy integration for developers.

As a member of dedicated teams at Circle, your active contribution to the broader frontend ecosystem will involve participating in code reviews to uphold code quality and ensure consistency across projects. Collaborating with peers to align strategies and share best practices, your ultimate goal is to create exceptional developer and user experiences that are not only intuitive but also robust and scalable. This collaborative effort includes working closely with Product and Design teams to translate requirements into tangible features that meet user needs effectively.

What you will be doing

• Developing user-facing, single-page applications with ReactJS or VueJS3
• Developing SDKs and sample applications
• Collaborating with designers, product managers and backend developers to establish objectives and design more functional and cohesive code and page layout
• Building modular and reusable components and libraries, and optimizing applications
• Implementing automated testing integrated into development and maintenance workflows
• Proposing any upgrades and updates necessary for keeping up with modern security and development best practices
• Be involved and participate in the overall application lifecycle

What you should have

• At least 4+ years of experience building user interfaces for complex applications with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field
• Experience building responsive, component-based web apps with modern JavaScript front-end frameworks (ReactJS or VueJS)
• Experience with web3.js or ethers.js is a plus
• A keen sense of knowing when a feature “works” and when it can be improved.
• A focus on coding standards and code quality -- a desire to have great test coverage to enable continuous delivery
• Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate with remote teams, share ideas and present concepts effectively
• Self-starter, you enjoy moving at a fast pace, shipping software that improves the user experience and constantly improving your work with little supervision
• Ability to work independently or with a group

Salary

• Base Pay Range: NT$2,100,000 - $2,900,000
• Annual Bonus Target: 12.5%
