Job Description

CompaxDigital creates cloud-based enterprise software solutions covering areas of Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Business Support System (BSS), and Order-To-Cash process. We are headquartered in Vienna, Austria, with multiple office locations in Germany, USA, Taiwan, South Korea or Vietnam. Our clients are first-tier organizations operating in Telco, IoT, Media, and Tolling.

To further strengthen our engineering teams, we are seeking passionate Quality Assurance Engineers. You will work in international, agile, and self-organizing teams from different locations to deliver best-in-class software solutions for our clients.

Your role:

  • Together with the Scrum team, you ensure the high quality of our software product
  • You analyze requirements, plan, define, and evaluate test cases
  • You execute manual and automated software tests
  • As part of the Scrum team, you work closely together with the Software Developers
  • You will have regular customer exchange as part of our Daily Scrum Meetings and will present the ongoing results of the Sprint
  • Snippet of our testing tools: Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins, Postman, SoapUI

Requirements

We wish you bring to us:

  • First experiences as a software QA, ideally for 2 years or more
  • Knowledge of API and web testing as well as databases (familiar with SQL scripts)
  • Strong problem-solving skills, willingness to learn and adapt
  • Team player and ability to work without supervision
  • Familiarity with Scrum or Agile way of working
  • Strong communication skills and a precise way of working
  • Experience of working with or using a CRM or BSS software is a plus
  • Knowledge of testing tools and ideally of an object-oriented programming language is a plus
  • Fluent written and spoken English, and good knowledge of Chinese

Interview process

1. Talk with People&Culture Taiwan (~30mins via Zoom)
2. Online test (60mins)
3. Interview with 2-3 QA's of Compax Taiwan in Taipei office (~90mins)

What we do

We make Business Support Systems easy, fast and agile. Our BSS is a modern and fully modular platform that is based on the microservices architecture, the open data model, and open API's. It provides unified Customer Information Management, Revenue Management and Product Management capabilities and allows for optimal customer experience and the highest level of business process automation. It employs a modern low/no-code concept allowing business users to set up and adjust the key aspects of the solution without the need to involve the IT personnel.
