Role Overview:

As part of our exciting expansion plan, we are hiring a Senior Content Designer. Ideal candidates will work with cross-functional teams, such as Marketing, Business Analyst (Data), Buyers, Program management, Legal, etc. The primary goal of this role is to help Coupang Taiwan team to strengthen its design and merchandising of what our customers want and drives mobile/web content design activities to increase its visibility and customer loyalty.

What You Will Do:

• Begins every day obsessed over Customer Experience. Starts with customer focused objectives and works backwards.  Solution-building mindset to address and WOW our customers by design activities.  

• Design and localize performance-based digital assets including; banner ads, motion graphics, video ads & HTML5 ads

• Collaborate with the marketing team to constantly improve the onsite creatives, performance ads and scale what works best

• Stay up to date on design best practices for Facebook, Google, IG, TikTok and Snapchat.

Requirements:

• Experience with designing mobile/web creatives and performance ads at an agency or in-house. You get excited about creating content design that deliver results.

• 6~8 years of work experience including at least 4 years of Mobile/Web design. 

• Solid knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Figma; Animation experience is a plus. (*Mandatory to submit Design portfolio)

• Knowledge of design best practices in different online marketing channels (such as Facebook, Google, Tiktok, Snapchat)

• Native Chinese required & fluent level English is bonus. 

• Data driven perspective  – able to monitor/track design related data with performance and reporting  

• Be able to Build several different versions and sizes of new concepts quickly.

• A person who is able to maintain work priorities in a complex and rapidly changing situation where multiple stakeholders and requests are intertwined

• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

• Always ensures business goals and plans are in line with ‘WOW-ing the Customer’ – never sacrifices customer experience for short-term goal. 

Preferred Qualification:  

• Experience in working in eCommerce OR marketing agencies. 

• Experience in A/B testing, working in global organization are bonus.

• Video editor skillset is bonus, such as After effects or Premiere.
