/ About this role

A Product Marketing Manager (PMM) tells the product’s story to the market, and vice versa. To do that, she/he works with multiple teams to identify what to build, who to build for, what story to tell, and markets to tell to. She/he bridges Product and GTM (go-to-market) teams to tell the story well.

// What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager (B2B SaaS) that can develop a holistic customer funnel, launch product features successfully, market the product while bringing people along, and maximize business impact while working with Product and go-to-market. Specifically:

  • Segmentation, targeting, positioning (STP) - define where we’d play, how we grow in the market, and lay out buyer journeys with messaging frameworks (who, why, what, how, where)
  • Insights - identify market insights through market research, persona interviews, competitor analysis, product feedback loop, early testing, co-pitching, and internal roadshows
  • Feature releases - develop go-to-market strategies, messaging and copy, lead generation plan, and execute them well working with marketing, sales enablement, and customer success teams
  • Market attention - make splashes with product launch events, case studies, videos, website, blog posts, whitepapers, events (with Marketing), and press releases (with Public Relations)
  • Success metrics - Make sure the right business metrics are set, tracked, and optimized working with regional markets

Requirements

Required qualifications

  • Experienced in product marketing (2+ years), or in relevant roles in B2B SaaS (5+ years)
  • Best-in-class positioning, messaging, storytelling, go-to-market planning, and execution
  • Communicative with extreme clarity, both verbal and written (English)
  • Keen observation of problems worth solving and insights
  • Highly skilled in critical thinking and problem solving
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration that delivers and scales

Preferred qualifications

  • Great business acumen with desire to expand expertise from marketing, product management, consulting, or business development
  • Fluent in Mandarin, reading, writing, listening and speaking
  • Experienced in Japan market and other regions
  • Adaptative in being strategic and tactical
