Position: Entry Level DevOps Engineer

Location: Taiwan (Remote)

Overview: We are seeking a motivated and passionate entry-level DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Taiwan. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science, experience with AWS services, and a commitment to continuous improvement and learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM): Manage user access and permissions to ensure secure and efficient use of AWS resources.
• Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS): Deploy, manage, and scale containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service): Manage and optimize S3 buckets for storage, backup, and recovery purposes.
• Networking: Configure and maintain AWS networking services, ensuring secure and optimized data flow.
• Security: Implement best practices for securing AWS environments, including monitoring and responding to security threats.
• Cost Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize AWS costs to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Data Management and Governance: Ensure data integrity, availability, and compliance with organizational policies.
• System Monitoring: Use monitoring tools to track system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• CI/CD DevOps Pipelines: Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Certification: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional.
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of AWS services, particularly IAM, EKS, S3, and networking.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Familiarity with system monitoring and logging tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Intermittent English Communication: Proficiency in reading and writing technical documentation in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with AWS services.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
• Basic scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash).
