Video Producer

We are looking for a full-time Writer/Producer to facilitate our ongoing projects. You will work closely with the EP and the clients to develop and produce factual and scripted content for international broadcasters.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Lead end-to-end audio/visual content production, including conceptualizing, scriptwriting, filming, and post-production editing while providing technical and creative direction.
• Source staff, negotiate salaries, hire equipment, and supervise and direct producers, editors, camera operators, actors, and other crew members.
• Develop solid working relationships and function as our client's trusted advisor and point of contact.
• Coordinate timelines and logistics for multiple projects, including quick turnaround projects. Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Communicate production changes and updates to clients on a proactive basis.
• Act as a conduit between the client and creative team to provide information and feedback regarding needs and expectations. Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members throughout production.

IDEAL CANDIDATES:
• Strong writing skills in English. Professional working proficiency in Chinese. Understanding Taiwanese is a big plus.
• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience acting as a senior-level producer in film, television, commercial film, or content production, developing and tracking budgets, schedules, and assets, handling everything from pre-to-post production, including development, scriptwriting, principal photography, post-production workflows, or related field.
• A good team player with a positive attitude. Excellent interpersonal skills in team and client management.
• Meticulously organized in a high-stressed working environment.
• Project management experience within production companies.
• Working knowledge of production workflows and scheduling, production budgets, estimating and financial reporting, merchandise management systems, and databases. Special attention is given to applications familiar with productivity apps and software used in the industry.
