Backend Software Engineer

We are on the hunt for a skilled Backend Developer to play a pivotal role in the development of

our SaaS platform's backend. This position is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of

Python, proficiency in database management, and experience with Git. The primary

responsibility will be to implement RESTful APIs using FastAPI, ensuring efficient, scalable, and

secure backend services. The candidate should have a knack for troubleshooting and

debugging, a customer-first mindset, and a track record of supporting complex backend

systems.

Key Responsibilities

● Design and implement RESTful APIs using FastAPI to support web and mobile

applications

● Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

● Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to establish objectives

and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.

● Manage database operations, including schema design, development, query

optimization, and connection handling.

● Utilize Git for version control and collaboration with team members.

● Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to optimize performance.

● Be proactive in responding to customer issues and requests, ensuring high levels of

customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

● Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with a strong focus on Python and FastAPI.

● Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and data modeling

principles.

● Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

● Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.

● Ability to debug and resolve technical issues efficiently.

● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Additional Skills (Plus)

● Previous experience with similar SaaS platform projects.

● Knowledge of AWS and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
