You’ll be developing Glossika mainly!

Part-time Collaboration
While we are primarily seeking candidates for full-time positions, we understand that individuals may have varying availability. We welcome applicants who are interested in part-time opportunities to apply as well.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize APIs and integrations
• Build and optimize language learning algorithms
• Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
• Design relational databases
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Troubleshoot and fix issues between front-end and back-end development teams

Requirements

• Familiar with Golang
• Familiar with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Cloudfront, etc.)
• Familiar with Unix (or Unix-like) commands
• Familiar with MySQL
• Familiar with nginx
• 3+ years of experience working in backend development
• Fluent in English and/or Chinese
  

Good to have

• Experience with Scrum
• Experience with audio and video processing
• Experience with subscription-based business models

• Round 1: Initial Interview (30 minutes) - A quick session to assess your fit with our team and answer any questions about our company, products, and team culture.
• Round 2: Assignment - Successful candidates from Round 1 will be given an assignment to showcase their skills. Progression to the next stage is based on the assignment's performance.
• Round 3: Technical Interview (45 minutes) - A deep dive into your technical abilities and problem-solving skills through a discussion with our developers.
• Round 4: Team Interaction and Compensation Conversation (45 minutes) - The final round includes meeting team members, followed by a discussion about your compensation package.
