As an Operations Analyst based in Taiwan, you will be a key member in a team that rolls up its sleeves to ensure the optimal operation of our fast-growing platform. Working across teams – client coverage, trading, legal, compliance and technology – you will work closely with our Singapore team to manage and optimize client, trading, and accounting lifecycle processes, contribute to proprietary system development, and ensure regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will be diverse, ranging from operational support to project management. Requirements

What you will do

Funds Operations Support:

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of our funds business.
  • Support the preparation and management of fund documents and records.
  • Coordinate with the fund admin team to ensure accurate and timely fund accounting and reporting.
  • Assist in the implementation of operational improvements and efficiencies within the funds’ operations.
  • Provide support in investor relations activities (e.g., investor subscriptions and redemptions), including responding to inquiries and providing required information.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operational integration between the brokerage and funds operations.
  • Oversee daily, monthly, and quarterly NAV calculations for each fund, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with auditors and fund admin for preparation of yearly financial statements.

Prime Brokerage Operations Support:

  • Facilitate client lifecycle processes, including onboarding, KYC and ongoing support, in coordination with the client coverage and compliance teams.
  • Develop and maintain robust operational processes to support the unique needs of our clients, including trade reconciliation and settlement.
  • Preparation of daily and monthly reports to Prime Brokerage Clients.
  • Support risk management processes specific to the prime brokerage business, ensuring effective monitoring and mitigation of risks.
  • Handle collateral management, ensuring proper valuation, margining, and adjustments to support clients.
  • Ensure compliance with counterparty and regulatory requirements specific to prime operations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders involved in the prime brokerage business, ensuring efficient communication and issue resolution.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline operational workflows, reduce manual processes, and improve data accuracy.
  • Support the implementation of technology and system upgrades, ensuring seamless integration across teams and systems.

What you will bring

  • Open to Taiwanese Citizens.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in middle office or operations at an asset manager, hedge fund, fund administrator (fund accounting), investment bank, private bank or other financial services company.
  • Capable of offering design solutions clearly, even in complex scenarios, with meticulous attention to documenting processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (English).

Bonus but not required:

  • Strong MS Excel skills; VBA, and other programming skills.
  • A genuine interest in digital assets, cryptocurrency, blockchain and other distributed ledger-related technologies.
  • Knowledge or experience in decentralized finance (DeFi), whether at a personal or professional level, including familiarity with DeFi protocols, liquidity pools, yield farming, and staking.

Interview process

We are looking to place this position between December 2024 and January 2025. 

Interviews will be conducted in English via Video Conference with our team in Singapore and Taipei. We expect there to be at least 2 to 3 rounds of interviews for successful candidates. 

An in-person interview will be held in Taipei prior to a job offer.
