Job Description

As an Operations Analyst based in Taiwan, you will be a key member in a team that rolls up its sleeves to ensure the optimal operation of our fast-growing platform. Working across teams – client coverage, trading, legal, compliance and technology – you will work closely with our Singapore team to manage and optimize client, trading, and accounting lifecycle processes, contribute to proprietary system development, and ensure regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities will be diverse, ranging from operational support to project management. In a dynamic industry where change is the only constant, your role will challenge you to adapt, innovate and grow in our high energy environment. As part of our team, you will contribute to a vibrant culture that embraces change, values learning and thrives on collaboration.

Requirements

What you will do

Client and Trade Operations

  • Manage trade lifecycle operational activities: pre-trade, trade execution, clearing, settlement and ongoing position and risk management.
  • Produce financial and management accounting reports covering transactions, positions, risk, P&L and respond to ad hoc requests.
  • Facilitate client lifecycle processes, including onboarding, KYC and ongoing support, in coordination with the client coverage and compliance teams.
  • Design, implement, maintain, and optimize operational processes, controls, and policies to ensure excellence and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure daily tasks, asset reconciliation and reports are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with external stakeholders and service providers (prime brokers, counterparties banks, technology companies, fund administrators), ensuring smooth resolution of issues.
  • Participate in end-to-end projects to enhance client and trading lifecycle operating flows and technologies: including overseeing project timelines, utilizing project tools (e.g., JIRA), providing status updates, and working with our partners to ensure successful implementation.
  • Participate in UAT system testing and ensure effective collaboration between internal and external parties for successful implementation.
  • Stay updated with market trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices.
  • Create and upkeep documentation, standard operating procedures, and user guides for new or enhanced workflows and systems.

What you will bring

  • Open to Taiwanese Citizens.
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma.
  • At least 2 to 5 years of experience in technology, middle office or operations — with a strong emphasis on reconciliation capabilities — at an asset manager, hedge fund, investment bank, private bank or other financial services company.
  • Capable of offering design solutions clearly, even in complex scenarios, with meticulous attention to documenting processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong comfort and aptitude with numbers, including the ability to analyse and interpret large data sets effectively.
  • Demonstrate the ability to independently seek solutions.
  • Proficient in tracking progress on assigned tasks and providing regular, clear updates to stakeholders on status and outcomes.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (English).

Bonus but not required:

  • Strong MS Excel skills; VBA, and other programming skills.
  • A genuine interest in digital assets, cryptocurrency, blockchain and other distributed ledger-related technologies.
