HTC is seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Finance Leader to join our executive team and lead our finance & accounting function. You will play a critical role in driving our organization's strategy and performance, ensuring the business' sustainability and growth through strategic financial decisions.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Strategic Financial Leadership:
- Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to support the company's strategic objectives.
- Oversee budget and cash flow management, financial planning and analysis, scenario modeling, potential merger and acquisition, initial public offerings (IPO), capital budgeting, securing debt and equity financing, and managing investor relations. Provide overall business strategic direction to the Chairwoman and the Board of Directors.
- Oversee and evaluate strategic investment opportunities to enhance the company's organic and inorganic growth and profitability.
- Collaborate with the executive team to drive business growth and profitability.
- Lead in the preparation and management of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Provide financial analysis, strategic recommendations, and insights to support strategic decision-making focusing on flexibility and agility.
2. Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities to internal and external stakeholders.
- Present financial reports and strategies to the board of directors and investors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for financial matters with banks, investors, and other financial partners.
3. Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct risk management and perform scenario analysis to anticipate potential financial challenges.
4. Operational Finance Management:
- Manage cash flow, investments, and financing activities to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
- Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements.
5. Controls and Compliance:
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards.
6. Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the finance department.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to support collaborative decision-making.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Abilities)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in a senior financial leadership role at a technology company, and 12+ years of relevant overall working experience.
- Excellent investment, analytical, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
- Strong knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong command of English & Mandarin, both written and verbal.
