Senior Software QA Engineer (Manual Focus)

We're looking for a Senior Manual QA Engineer to join our global engineering team in Taiwan. To succeed in this position, you will be an experienced application tester with deep knowledge of software validation strategy.

What you will do / 工作內容

1. Deeply understand our applications as a user and independently identify test cases and potential failure modes
2. Dedicate yourself to improving our user experience both..
   1. quantitatively (in terms of bugs) and
   2. qualitatively (in terms of “How good an experience really is”)
3. Develop and execute manual test plans which validate software prior to release
4. Produce analytical reports that quantify confidence in release candidates

Hard Requirements

Required Skills:

• Solid understanding of Software QA processes with 4+ years of experience in managing test plans, strategies, and test case execution
• Hands-on experience in testing web applications, mobile apps, and APIs
• Proficiency in using API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent
• Expertise in log analysis on cloud platforms (e.g., GCP or AWS) and troubleshooting issues effectively
• Ability to read/write SQL queries to investigate defects and data quality validation
• Experience in mentoring and training team members

• Test Management: Test Rail (If you manage test cases in a spreadsheet, this is not the job you’re looking for.)
• Back-end: RESTful APIs
